How to choose tiles
Eight questions most people ask before buying, answered briefly. For anything else, we are on WhatsApp.
Porcelain or ceramic?
Porcelain is denser and absorbs less water, so it handles floors, busy areas, wet rooms and outdoors. Ceramic is lighter and easier to cut, and suits interior walls and light-traffic floors. If in doubt, porcelain is the safer choice for floors.
What do V1–V4 mean?
It is the shade variation from one tile to the next. V1 is near-uniform, V2 slight, V3 marked (like natural stone) and V4 random and strong. The higher the number, the more you should lay tiles out dry before fixing.
What do R9, R10 and R11 mean?
A slip-resistance rating: the higher the number, the less slippery. R9 suits dry interiors, R10 kitchens and bathrooms, R11 and up entrances and outdoor areas. Where a manufacturer does not declare it, we leave it out.
Matt or polished?
Matt is less slippery and hides scratches and marks, so it suits entrances and kitchens. Polished reflects light and makes a room feel larger, suiting living and reception rooms. Semi-polished finishes sit in between.
How do I work out quantity and waste?
Multiply length by width for each room, add 10% for cuts and breakage (15% for diagonal laying or very large formats), then divide by the box area and round up. Example: 20 m² + 10% = 22 m²; at 1.44 m² per box you need 16 boxes. The quantity calculator on each colour does this for you.
Which size suits my room?
Large formats such as 60×120 and 120×120 mean fewer joints and a more spacious look, but need a flat floor and a skilled fitter. 60×60 is practical for most rooms. For walls, 30×60 and 30×90 are common.
Should I order a sample first?
Yes if you can: colours on screen differ from real life depending on light. Order a free sample from the colour page, ask for a real video on WhatsApp, or visit our showroom in Jeddah.

Items marked “In stock” ship from our Jeddah warehouse, and the shipping cost shows at checkout, by city. For items supplied on order, message us on WhatsApp for the lead time before you pay.
